Websets By Ladyoz became a home-based business in 1998, owned and operated by a woman best known as Ladyoz.  Her real name is Glen, she is an Australian living in California with her American husband, and she has been designing web graphics since 1997.  She specializes in the creation of custom web templates for business or personal use.  Glen uses the latest design software including Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro, and has an extensive royalty-free image library, including her own collection of digital photographs.  As well as her custom design service, Glen also offers free linkware graphic sets, free background tiles, and free tutorials in the use of Paint Shop Pro.  Her aim in web graphic design has always been to strive for quality at a reasonable price, and for complete customer satisfaction.
My name is Kim, most people call me Kimmy. I started my online excursion in 1998. I first learned HTML, using AOLPress. AOLPress was a great, easy to learn HTML editor. It taught me the basics, which sparked something in me to learn more complex HTML. While using AOLPress I used linkware graphics, as I had no ideahow to make anything. I was satisfied with using linkware for a while, but then wanted to make my own. Unfortunately for me, my PC was a dinosaur and I wasn't ableto install any graphics programs. Until one day we bought a new computer and I instantly got Paint Shop Pro! I had recently joined a women's online group and was learning more about HTML, including tables, CSS, Forms, Frames and many tips and tricks for using PSP's tools and plug-ins. I asked the right peoplea lot of questions and they were always glad to help. I'm very thankful for those women. After making single graphics, such as: awards, certificates, logos, banners and plaques, I finally designed my first website! Then thought, I can offer linkware too! I set a goal for myself, met it, and couldn't have been happier and proud when I was done! I had finally gotten to the place I wanted to be :) After many trial and error efforts, I feel that I am very capable and motivated to designing for both personal and commercial websites. It's important to me, that every client issatisfied with the service I provide and the outcome of the design. I put in 100% creativity, concentration and effort with each new design. I enjoy designing graphics from scratch, but do have many sets using, tubes, photographs and artwork. The many different tools in PSP and Photo Impact make the creating endless. Graphics programs I use are: PSP, with many plug-ins. Such as: Eye Candy 4.0, KTP 3.0, Xenofex 1.0 and Texturizer. I also am taking online classes forPhoto Impact 7, which also uses many of the same plug-ins, previously mentioned. I'm honest, eager, and look for new graphic challenges. I look forward to working with you!
I'm Sheila & my interest in things artistic goes back to my childhood & led me to Art College here in England. I later took quite a few years out to raise a family, but when my sons were in their teens I began an animal portrait business, working in both pencil & pastel. That eventually produced more work than one person could handle & since I was becoming interested in web design I wound down the portrait business & set off in a new & exciting direction. I came late to the internet, starting my site in 2000 to share my Border Collies with like-minded enthusiasts. Unable to find web sets that I really liked, I began to design my own & have never looked back. My primary tool is Paint Shop Pro & I incorporate various plugin programs to achieve the look I need at any given time. These days the Darian Graphics side of the site is considerably larger than the Darian Border Collies side! As well as custom work, I offer a wide selection of linkware & shareware page sets, plus Paint Shop Pro tubes, brushes & tutorials. I derive great pleasure from working with individuals to design a look that best suits their personality or their business.
